Uncover your potential and create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
Nothing gives me more pleasure than helping someone change, grow, and reach their potential. That's what coaching did for me, and I want the same for you. Through thought provoking and honest conversations, transformation can happen.
I had a 37-year career in corporate real estate, where I managed several multi-generational high performing teams. While I excelled in my professional life, helping people develop their careers, and driving towards a more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace is what I am most proud of, and what energizes me.
I am known for being open and authentic, and providing compassionate and direct feedback. That passion led me to coaching when I retired from my corporate role.
My role as your coach is to support you, challenge you, and encourage you. I will challenge your thinking, support you in pushing beyond your comfort zone, and be an accountability partner. Nothing makes me happier than when my clients attain their goals, whatever they may be.
Gaining a fresh objective perspective. Working with a coach can help remove blinders that leaders may have with respect to how they communicate, come across to direct reports, and view their own skills.
Increase Confidence. The goal of a Coach is to bring out the best in a leader. If a leader lacks confidence in his or her abilities or is unaware of the potential positive impact those abilities could have, the leader may be missing opportunities to be effective. Coaches help identify strengths and capabilities, but they also help leaders develop strategies for leveraging those strengths. By showing leaders ways to get the results they are looking for, a leader can receive validation that his or her ideas and strengths can work.
Build Effective Teams and Relationships People often gravitate towards others that are similar in personality or perspective. Working with a coach can help a leader broaden internal relationships with colleagues and team members that have different personalities, perspectives, and work methods. This can widen a leader’s perspective, helping the leading to make more inclusive decisions and become more productive. It can also help a leader gain insight into team dynamics and work toward repairing interpersonal issues that have been holding a team back.
Develops Problem-Solving Skills Learning how to problem-solve helps employees become more confident in making decisions and moving forward when faced with a challenge. Instead of stopping their workflow when an issue arises, employees can find a solution themselves.
Establishes Open Communication and Honest Feedback Open, honest communication is a primary benefit of coaching employees. Communication is crucial in the workplace. Lack of clear communication, and miscommunication, are top reasons for workplace failure.
When leaders and managers take the time to sit down with employees and talk openly with them, it builds trust. Building trust with employees makes them feel more comfortable to share their honest thoughts or opinions.
Increases employee and staff engagement. Highly engaged employees are less likely to leave their organizations.
Improves productivity and effectiveness This is especially important if you have employees taking on new or leadership level roles. A coach works with clients to inspire them to their personal and professional potential – increasing their productivity, effectiveness, and overall success.
Demonstrates organizational commitment to development Coaching is an ideal way to develop your team and show your leaders you value their development
